In all known cases, these worms have no effect because they are designed to exploit bugs in old software. Our servers use newer software that is not vulnerable to any known worm, and you can simply ignore these hits.

Visitor tried to view a page that required a password. This response code means the server asked the visitor for the username and password instead of sending the actual page; it is not an actual "error".

Visitor tried to reach a page that is configured to be "forbidden". This often means a visitor provided the address of a directory that did not contain an index file.

Visitor tried to reach a nonexistent page ("404 not found"). This error sometimes indicates an invalid link somewhere in your site, but if you just see a few of these, it's more likely that a visitor mistyped an address.

Server has taken too much time to respond to a request. This error frequently involves either a slow CGI script which the server was required to kill or an extremely congested web server.

Internal error. This error is often caused by a misconfigured CGI program or ".htaccess" file. Search the Tiger technologies help pages for "internal server error" for more information.

Unknown requested action.

Code returned by a HTTP server that works as a proxy or gateway when a real, targeted server doesn't answer successfully to the client's request.
